What the account does
- One login for every app. Sign in once – in FaLe PDF, FaLe One and every future FaLe app.
- Free. The account costs nothing – today and in the future.
- Sync. Keep your data in sync between phone, tablet and PC, if you want to.
- End-to-end encrypted. Encryption happens on your device before anything is uploaded. All we store is data we cannot read.
What doesn’t change
- No obligation. Every app works fully without an account – today and in the future.
- No tracking. The account exists for sync, not for building ad profiles.
- Local first. Even with an account, your device is where the work happens. The cloud is only the encrypted sync.
End-to-end also means: no master key
Because only you can decrypt your data, we can’t recover it for you either. For emergencies, FaLe One lets you set up emergency access for people you trust.

The FaLe Account, FaLe PDF and FaLe One are free. If you would like to support development, you will soon be able to do so with a voluntary donation.

How do I sign in?
With your email address: you get a code to enter – no password needed.
What does the account cost?
Nothing. The account is free.
Do I have to upload my data?
No. Sync is optional. Without it, everything stays on your device only.
