Mix PDF pages alternately
Double-sided scans without a duplex scanner: fronts and backs become one document again.

How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.
Good to know
How it works – step by step
Choose PDFs
Pick two PDFs: first the fronts, then the backs. Or one PDF with all fronts followed by all backs. More files work, too.
Check the order
The preview shows the new page order with F1, B1, F2 … If the stack of backs went through the scanner flipped over, keep “Second stack in reverse” on.
Mix and save
Tap “Mix” and download the finished document.
Why FaLe?
Made for simple scanners
Scan the stack from the front, flip it, scan it from the back – the tool puts everything back in the right order.
Preview before saving
Every page shows its label, such as F2 or B2, so you see at once whether the order is right.
One file or several
Two separate scans, a single scan with both halves or any number of PDFs mixed in turn.
Uneven stacks
If a back side is missing, you are told, and extra pages go at the end instead of getting lost.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Pages are mixed in your browser and your scans never leave your device.
When do I need “Second stack in reverse”?
If you simply flip the paper stack after scanning the fronts, the last back side comes first. Then the second stack has to be read in reverse – that’s the default. The preview shows whether it fits.
I scanned everything into one PDF. Does that work?
Yes. Choose just that PDF. The first half is treated as fronts, the second half as backs.
Can I mix more than two PDFs?
Yes. Pages are taken in turn: the first page of every file, then the second and so on. With “Pages per turn” you can also take several pages at a time.
What about blank back sides?
After mixing, continue straight with “Remove blank pages”. Blank backs are detected there and shown to you for a check.
