Frequently asked questions
Are formulas calculated?
The PDF shows the results of the formulas. They are usually stored in the file; if not, the tool recalculates common formulas itself.
Are colours and borders kept?
Bold, italic, text colours, cell background colours and borders are kept, plus a subtle grid. Images in cells and defined print areas are not taken into account.
Do old .xls files work?
No, only XLSX. Save an .xls file as XLSX in your spreadsheet app.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser and the PDF is created there. After the first visit it even works offline.
