Convert Word to PDF

Turn a Word document (DOCX) into a PDF – with a preview before you save it.

How can I check that nothing is uploaded?

Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.

Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

Good to know

How it works – step by step
  1. Choose a Word file

Pick one or more DOCX files – from your phone, your cloud app or your computer.

  2. Convert

Tap “Convert to PDF”. Page size, margins, headers and footers are taken from the document.

  3. Check and share

Swipe through the page preview, then download the PDF or share it right away, by email for example.

Why FaLe?
  • Text stays text

The PDF contains real, searchable text – not photographed pages.

  • Structure is kept

Headings, lists, tables, images, page size and margins come along.

  • Preview before saving

You see the finished pages before you download or send the PDF.

  • No upload

Job applications and contracts stay on your device. The conversion happens in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Does the PDF look exactly like in Word?

For normal documents – letters, reports, applications with text, lists, tables and images – very close. Very complex layouts with text boxes, shapes or wrapped images may differ. That’s why you see a page preview first.

Which fonts are used?

The PDF uses the standard fonts every PDF reader has (similar to Arial, Times and Courier). The typeface may differ slightly from the original; accents, umlauts and € work. Characters of other scripts (Cyrillic, for example) are replaced – the tool tells you exactly which ones.

Do old .doc files work?

No, only today’s DOCX format. Open a .doc file in your office app and save it as DOCX.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The file is read in your browser and the PDF is created there. After the first visit it even works offline.
