How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

How it works – step by step
Choose two PDFs
Select the old and the new version. The upper file counts as “old” – swap the order with the arrows.
Review the changes
Inserted words are green, deleted ones red. Jump from change to change with the arrows. The visual comparison also shows changes to images and layout.
Save the report
Tap “Save report” to get a PDF with a summary, all changes and the visual comparison.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Both PDFs are read and compared only in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
Does it work with scans?
The text comparison needs text in the PDF. For pure image scans use the visual comparison – it shows differences pixel by pixel.
What is in the report?
File names, the number of changes, every change with its page number (deleted text in red, new text in green) and, if you like, the visual comparison for every page with differences.
Why does the visual comparison show differences although the text is the same?
The visual comparison reacts to everything visible: moved lines, other fonts, colours or images. If only the line breaks moved, the text comparison is more meaningful.
How large may the files be?
There is no fixed limit. Very long documents take a little longer on a phone; long unchanged passages are collapsed in the view.
