How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.
Good to know
How it works – step by step
Choose your PDF
Select the PDF you want to sign – a contract or a form, for example.
Create and place your signature
Draw your signature with a finger, type your name or photograph it on paper. Drag it to the right spot, resize or rotate it. Dates, initials, text and check marks work the same way.
Sign and save
Tap “Sign”. The signature is now part of the page – download it or share it right away.
Why FaLe?
Three ways to sign
Draw with clean, smooth strokes – on a phone also sideways in full screen –, type in handwriting-like fonts, or use a photo of your real signature with the background removed automatically.
Place it with your finger
Move, resize with the corner or two fingers, rotate – and add as many signatures, initials, dates and check marks as you need.
Initials on every page
One tap on “On all pages” puts your initials at the same spot on every page – handy for long contracts.
Stays on your device
The PDF is not uploaded. The tool only remembers your signature if you want it to – and only in this browser.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It is a simple electronic signature – comparable to a scanned signature. That is enough for many forms, offers and confirmations. Where the law requires a written form, you need a qualified electronic signature or a signature on paper.
Are my PDF or my signature uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your signature is only stored if you choose “Remember on this device” – then it stays exclusively in this browser on this device and can be deleted at any time.
How does the photo of my signature work?
Sign on white paper and take a photo of the signature. The tool makes the paper transparent and colours the ink black, blue or green – so it looks genuinely signed on the PDF.
Can the signature be removed later?
Not easily: it is burned into the page and is not a loose element that can be moved or copied out. Keep the unsigned original in case you want to change something.
Does it work with forms and protected PDFs?
Yes. Form fields are kept. For a password-protected PDF you type the password on the file; the signed file is protected again with the same password.
