How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.
Good to know
How it works – step by step
Photograph both sides
Put the card on a dark surface and take a photo of the front, then the back.
Check and black out
Edges are detected and straightened automatically. Black out numbers the recipient doesn’t need and add “COPY” with purpose and date.
Save the PDF
Both sides are on one A4 page at real size. Print at “Actual size”.
Why FaLe?
Your ID stays with you
Many online services upload the photo to a server. Here everything happens in your browser – nothing is uploaded.
Exactly real size
Each side is straightened and scaled to exactly 85.6 × 54 mm – like a photocopy, only cleaner.
Protection against misuse
“COPY” with purpose and date is burned into the picture, numbers can be blacked out permanently, greyscale on request.
Driving licence and passport too
Credit-card-sized cards and the passport data page (125 × 88 mm).

Frequently asked questions
Which numbers should I black out?
Often recommended: the card access number (CAN) and the serial number, unless the recipient explicitly needs them. Authorities and banks may require everything to stay readable.
Why is the printed copy too small or too large?
The printer scaled the page. Choose “Actual size” or 100 % instead of “Fit to page” in the print dialog.
The corners were not detected correctly – what now?
Simply drag the four corners onto the card corners. A dark background and light without glare help detection.
Is my ID uploaded or stored?
No. The photos are processed only in your browser and not stored anywhere. After the first visit the page even works offline.
