How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.
Good to know
How it works – step by step
Choose a photo
Take a photo in front of a light, plain wall – facing the camera with a neutral expression – or pick one from your gallery.
Line it up
Choose the format, then move and zoom the photo until the top of the head, the eyes and the chin sit in the marked areas. Optionally lighten the background.
Get it printed
Save the print sheet as a JPG for photo printing or as a PDF to print yourself – or the single photo for online forms.
Why FaLe?
Template with measurements
Lines for the top of the head, the chin and eye level show where the face should sit – for every format.
Print sheet with cut marks
Several photos on 10 × 15 cm, at actual size and 600 dpi. A regular photo print usually costs less than a photo booth.
Position with your finger
Move, pinch to zoom, straighten and adjust brightness – right on your phone.
No upload
Your face stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored.

Frequently asked questions
Will authorities accept the photo?
That’s up to the authority. FaLe helps with the format and crop but doesn’t check whether lighting, sharpness, gaze and background meet the rules. Some countries only accept photos taken or submitted digitally by approved photographers or offices – check the current requirements first.
What can I use the photo for?
For example applications, membership cards, travel passes, some visas or licence applications – depending on what is required. If in doubt, ask first.
How do I print the sheet correctly?
Have the JPG printed as a normal 10 × 15 cm (4 × 6 in) photo. When printing the PDF yourself, choose “Actual size” or 100 %, not “Fit to page”, so the measurements are right.
How does “Lighten the background” work?
Starting from the top corners of the photo, similarly coloured areas are turned light grey. This works well with a plain wall, not with a busy background. The tolerance controls how much is caught.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser; your photo never leaves your device.
