How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

How it works – step by step
Choose your PDF
Select the PDF whose pages you want to crop.
Set the area
“Remove white margins” detects the content of every page on its own. With “Custom area” you drag the frame by its handles or enter the margins in millimetres.
Crop and save
Choose which pages it applies to, tap “Crop” and download the PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Margin detection and cropping run entirely in your browser.
Is the cropped content deleted?
No. Cropping only sets the visible area (the so-called CropBox). The content outside stays in the file and PDF programs can show it again. That is why cropping is not suitable for hiding confidential content.
Does the file get smaller?
Hardly, because nothing is deleted. To reduce the file size, use “Compress PDF” afterwards.
What happens with blank pages?
If automatic detection finds no content on a page, that page stays unchanged. The result tells you how many pages that affects.
What is “Also change the paper size” for?
Some print and layout programs only use the original paper size. With this option it is set to the cropped area as well.
