Create a QR code

Create QR codes for links, Wi-Fi or contacts – with live preview and self-test.

How can I check that nothing is uploaded?

Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.

Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

Good to know

How it works – step by step
  1. Choose the content

Pick what goes into the code – link, text, Wi-Fi access, contact, e-mail, phone, SMS or a location – and fill in the fields.

  2. Style it

Adjust colours, margin and error correction. The preview shows the result right away and checks that the code stays readable.

  3. Save

Save the code as PNG for phone and web, as SVG for design apps or as PDF for printing.

Why FaLe?
  • With self-test

FaLe reads every generated code back and compares it with your content. Low contrast or a too narrow margin are flagged.

  • For every case

Link, text, Wi-Fi with password, contact card, e-mail, phone, SMS and location – without having to know the format behind it.

  • Never expires

The content is in the code itself. There’s no redirect through someone else’s server that might be switched off or start charging.

  • Razor sharp

PNG up to 4096 px, SVG and PDF as vectors – sharp on flyers, posters and business cards.

Frequently asked questions
Does the QR code stay valid?

Yes. The content is in the code itself, without a short-link service in between. It works as long as the link or data in it is correct.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. The code is created in your browser. Wi-Fi passwords and contact details never leave your device.

How do I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi?

Choose “Wi-Fi”, enter the network name and password and pick the security (usually WPA). Guests scan the code with their camera and connect without typing.

Which colours can I use?

Any, as long as the code is clearly darker than the background. Many scanners can’t read light codes on dark backgrounds – FaLe warns you then.

Which error correction do I need?

M is usually fine. If the code will be printed and may get dirty or creased, choose Q or H. Higher levels make the code denser.

How large should I print it?

The more content, the finer the pattern and the larger the print should be. Best test the print with your phone from the distance it will be scanned from.
