How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

Why FaLe?
JPG without loss
For JPG photos only the orientation flag is changed. The image data stays bit for bit the same, including capture date and camera data.
Many images at once
Rotate a whole batch with one tap or fix single photos – with a preview for every image.
No upload
Your photos stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions
What does “lossless” mean?
JPG photos store their orientation as a flag in the file. We only change that flag; the photo itself is not recompressed, so the quality stays exactly the same.
My program still shows the image the wrong way. What now?
Some very old programs ignore the orientation flag. Choose “Rotate pixels and re-save” – the image is saved again at very high quality.
What about PNG and other formats?
PNG images are rotated in their pixels – without loss, because PNG is a lossless format. WebP and AVIF are saved again in their format at high quality, GIF and BMP as PNG.
Can I rotate by a few degrees?
Use “Crop image” with its “Straighten” slider – it also crops the image to fit.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your device.
