How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.
Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.
Good to know
How it works – step by step
Choose WebP
Pick one or more WebP images, for example logos, stickers or graphics from the web.
Convert
Tap “Convert to PNG”. Transparent areas stay transparent.
Save or share
Download the PNGs or share them right away – several also as a ZIP.
Why FaLe?
Transparency kept
Unlike with JPG, logos and stickers don’t get a white box.
No further compression
PNG is lossless. Whatever is in the WebP goes into the PNG pixel for pixel.
No upload
Your images stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions
PNG or JPG – which is better for my WebP?
PNG for logos, graphics, screenshots and anything with transparency. For photos JPG is usually better because the file gets much smaller – use “WebP to JPG” for that.
Why is the PNG larger than the WebP?
WebP compresses harder, PNG is lossless. For photos the PNG can be many times larger.
Is transparency kept?
Yes. Transparent and semi-transparent areas are carried over into the PNG exactly.
What about animated WebP images?
PNG can’t store the animation here, so the first frame is used.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your browser.
