Frequently asked questions
Are my PNGs uploaded?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser.
Why does my logo get a white box?
JPG can’t store transparency. Transparent areas get the chosen background colour. If you need transparency, stay with PNG or use WebP.
Is JPG always smaller than PNG?
For photos almost always. Simple graphics with few colours can be smaller and sharper as PNG – then converting isn’t worth it.
Can I convert many PNGs at once?
Yes, without a limit. At the end you can download them all as a ZIP.
