Pick the whole screen, a window or a tab in the browser’s dialog. After the countdown it records – pause whenever you like.
Save
Stop, watch it back and save it as MP4 or WebM – or share it directly.

Frequently asked questions
How do I record the screen with sound?
Leave “Record sound from the screen or tab” on and tick “Share audio” in the browser’s sharing dialog. On Windows this works for the whole screen, on a Mac only for single tabs. Your microphone is added if it’s switched on.
Is there a time limit?
No. The recording is written continuously to your browser’s private storage, so long videos don’t fill up memory. The only limit is free space on your device.
How do I appear in the video?
Open the camera window and share the whole screen. The round camera image floats above all apps, so it shows in the recording. Drag it wherever you like.
Can I record on my phone?
Phone browsers don’t allow screen recording. Use the built-in feature instead: Control Center on iPhone, Quick Settings on Android.
MP4 or WebM?
MP4 plays on practically every device and in messengers. WebM is open and often a little smaller. FaLe offers the formats your browser can record.
Is my recording stored or uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. Until you save it, the recording lives in this browser’s private storage and is deleted on your next visit or with “Record again”.
