How can I check that nothing is uploaded?

Your files are processed in this browser tab. This page has no function that sends files to a server, and its security rules (Content Security Policy) forbid connections to other servers.

Check it yourself: load this page, then switch on flight mode or disconnect Wi-Fi and run the tool. It still works – because everything happens on your device.

Good to know

How it works – step by step
  1. Pick the days

Take this or last week or a whole month – or add single days. Switch a day to vacation, sick or public holiday as needed.

  2. Enter the times

Type start, end and break, e.g. 7:30, 16:15 and 30. Working time, notes and the total appear right away.

  3. Save the timesheet

As a PDF to sign or as CSV for spreadsheets. Target, overtime and decimal hours are listed below.

Why FaLe?
  • Legal breaks, worked out properly

Many calculators deduct a flat 30 minutes from 6:01 hours. Here the minimum break follows the German rule exactly: with 6:20 hours at work, 20 minutes are enough.

  • Night shifts handled

If a shift ends after midnight, it is counted across the change of day. Too little rest between two days is flagged.

  • Decimal hours included

Every time also as a decimal for payroll – plus a converter from h:mm to decimal and back.

  • Nothing is uploaded

All times stay in your browser. They’re only remembered on the device if you switch that on.

Frequently asked questions
How much break is required?

Under the German Working Hours Act at least 30 minutes for more than 6 hours of work and 45 minutes for more than 9 hours, in blocks of at least 15 minutes. Rules differ in other countries – untick the legal break option if they don’t apply to you.

How do I convert minutes to decimal hours?

Divide the minutes by 60: 45 minutes are 0.75 hours, so 7:45 hours are 7.75. The converter on this page works both ways.

How are vacation and sick days counted?

Switch the day to vacation, sick or public holiday. It then counts with your daily target, so the overtime adds up.

Can I use it for night shifts?

Yes. If the end is earlier than the start, the shift is counted across midnight – 22:00 to 6:00 is 8 hours before breaks.

Are my times stored?

Only if you tick “Remember the entries on this device” – then in this browser. Otherwise they’re gone when you close the page.
