How it works – step by step
Choose the period
Enter start and end or tap “This month”, “Next month” or a year.
State and options
Choose the federal state. Optionally count Saturdays, treat 24 and 31 December as half days or subtract vacation days.

Frequently asked questions
Working days or business days – what is counted?
Monday to Friday by default. Tick “Saturday is a working day” for the legal German sense of Werktage (Monday to Saturday).
Are 24 and 31 December counted?
They are not public holidays and count fully. If you only work half a day, choose the half-day option.
Can I add the holidays to my calendar?
Yes. Tap “Holidays as calendar file (.ics)” and open the file with your calendar app.
How is a deadline in working days calculated?
Enter the start date and the number of working days. The start day itself is not counted; weekends and holidays are skipped.
